About Coolify
Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable PaaS (Platform as a Service) that serves as an alternative to proprietary cloud platforms like Vercel, Heroku, or Netlify. It allows developers and teams to manage and deploy their own applications, databases, and a wide array of pre-configured services (over 280+) to any server they own via SSH. By utilizing Docker under the hood, it provides a streamlined 'push-to-deploy' experience similar to premium cloud providers but on the user's private infrastructure. The platform is built with a focus on privacy and control, allowing users to avoid vendor lock-in and high cloud costs. It supports a variety of server types, including VPS providers like Hetzner or DigitalOcean, as well as local hardware like Raspberry Pis. Because the core software is open-source and can be run entirely on-premises, it is highly suitable for organizations requiring strict data sovereignty and infrastructure independence.
