About IONOS
IONOS is a leading digitalization partner for small and medium-sized businesses, offering a comprehensive suite of web presence and infrastructure solutions. Originally founded as 1&1, the company has evolved into a major European cloud service provider, competing with both traditional web hosts and global hyperscalers like AWS. Their service portfolio ranges from simple domain registration and white-label website builders to complex Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments. The service is characterized by its focus on accessibility for non-technical users through its 'Personal Consultant' support model, while simultaneously offering enterprise-grade features such as Managed Kubernetes, S3-compatible object storage, and ISO-certified data centers. As a German company, IONOS emphasizes data privacy and sustainability, positioning itself as a key player in the European digital sovereignty landscape.
